Every year, the anticipation of the most wonderful time of the year builds up in the NovaNox® offices and we have come up with something very special for this Christmas. We at NovaNox® have donated part of our Christmas budget this year to the organisation „Päckchen für Braunschweig“.
Päckchen für Braunschweig E.V. has set itself the task of delivering parcels to needy children and young people from difficult backgrounds so that they can look forward to a present under the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. Under the voluntary leadership of Julia Swiatkowski, this campaign requires donations in kind, which the organisation receives from citizens and companies alike. Of course, the donors themselves decide what is inside the gifts. However, the gifts in the form of donations should be something new, adapted to the target group of 0-18 year olds and should not be fragile or perishable. Donors can hand in their parcels at five collection points in Braunschweig, which will be inspected after the closing date and dispatched on time. In addition, further collection points are temporarily set up at the Soldekk, for example. If you would also like to donate gifts, you can find the latest updates on acceptance points for the organisation on social media. The number of parcels donated continues to increase from year to year. In 2020, for example, 3630 parcels were distributed to children in need and in 2021 even 3920 parcels.
Because we at NovaNox® are committed to social engagement and it is important to us that everyone can enjoy a present under the Christmas tree at Christmas, this year we decided to give a present not only to our customers, but also to the children of our home town of Braunschweig. So we got in touch with the organisation's management and made a generous donation to the association. Our Managing Directors Deniz Demirci and Timo Dutko also paid a visit to the organisation led by founder Julia Swiatkowski and her team of volunteers to see the "Päckchen für Braunschweig" association for themselves and were absolutely delighted with what they saw. In a large warehouse, rows and rows of parcels are piled up on shelves to be sent to children and young people in Braunschweig for Christmas.
