Piping exhaust gas for machinery, equipment and automotive engineering
In machines, plants or vehicle technology, exhaust gas pipes are used in the engine and hydraulic system. They function, for example, as exhaust pipes, charge air pipes, cooling water pipes or hydraulic pipes. Pipes are manufactured in welded and bent form or in combination.
In addition to mechanical stress and leak tightness, exhaust pipes have to meet a wide range of requirements so that engine and hydraulic systems can operate trouble-free.
Individual piping exhaust gas from NovaNox®.
With our many years of experience as a component and system supplier in pipe technology, we develop and produce individual piping for manufacturers of machines, plants and vehicle technology. We are able to produce the entire exhaust piping according to your specifications as a ready-to-install solution. Our products range from turbo flanges and rain flaps to complete exhaust systems. NovaNox® exhaust piping is bent and welded from high quality steel or stainless steel.
From simple to complex geometries, we realize pipelines for every installation situation with our modern manufacturing capabilities. NovaNox® exhaust gas pipes are therefore always individually adapted to the installation possibilities. In this way, even particularly tight installation spaces are used effectively. With various surface treatments and pipe end finishes, we also supply ready-to-install piping.
Exhaust gas piping bent
In order to bring the exhaust pipes into shape, we at NovaNox® use various bending processes and techniques. For example, mandrel bending and roll bending are combined to form pipes several times. Forming is possible by these methods even if the tubes have already been formed before. In mandrel bending, the tubes are pushed onto a mandrel and bent around the tool at a specified radius. To prevent the tube from deviating, it is stabilized with clamping jaws and slide rails. In roll bending, on the other hand, the deformation is brought about by adjustable rollers in which the tube is clamped. Due to this practice, the process is also called rolling, tube rolling or profile rolling. With this process it is possible to produce much tighter bending radii. All of these processes are performed on "cold" tubes.
"Cold" tubes or "cold bending" means that the tubes have been cooled down after the manufacturing process and are then deformed. Forming in a cold state allows a much wider range of tube and profile processing. In addition, several transition bends can be made on a single tube. Furthermore, another advantage is that the process is significantly cheaper and faster to implement. The only drawback is the limitation of machining from a diameter of 2 meters. Above this diameter, the pipes have to be machined in the blast furnace.
Of course, the materials are subjected to careful testing. This guarantees the quality of our products and 100% traceability.
NovaNox® piping exhaust gas welded
The welding process is an extremely important process in tube processing. It enables both simple and highly complex geometries. We use the MIG, MAG and TIG processes for welding. These processes enable watertight welds and arc welds. In any of the mentioned processes NovaNox® guarantees the use of qualified welders.
Other processes we undertake are laser cutting, milling, turning, riveting, grinding, and subsequent final assembly.
CNC control
The CNC control enables us to perform our various bending techniques and produce CNC bent parts. These include, for example, ellipses, stab bends, tail bends or 3D bent parts with changing radii and extremely precise transitions between bends and straight lines. With our CNC tube bending machine, we can guarantee high quality standards. This is especially important for products that have to be manufactured in series. The machine offers high repeatability for all bends. During the bending process, the achieved radius is also continuously checked, thus avoiding errors or deviations.
Your advantages
NovaNox® double-walled exhaust pipes are characterized by their extremely stable and vibration-resistant insulation. This ensures extreme heat resistance and permanent thermal insulation. This provides optimum protection for nearby sensitive components. What's more, thanks to custom manufacturing, an exhaust gas pipe can be made to suit any geometry. It can also be adapted to existing building site situations and thus be inserted without any problems at the end. Furthermore, it is waterproof and resistant to fuel, oil, urea and acid.
