Flexible and Efficient PU Hoses from NovaNox®
NovaNox® possesses years of experience as a hose manufacturer in Germany. We offer polyurethane hoses that are widely used in industrial applications. The PU conveying hose and the PU suction hose are the most frequently used methods for safely transporting a wide range of solids, gaseous media, and liquids.
Each NovaNox® PU hose is meticulously tailored to your specific requirements. Whether in enclosed indoor spaces or in an outdoor environment – reliability is the most crucial component when it comes to protecting the environment and human safety.

Customised PU Hoses from NovaNox®

With our extensive experience in hose technology, we develop and produce customised PU hoses for the entire industry. They can be ideally used as suction hoses or conveying hoses.
From smooth internal and external surfaces to corrugated designs with and without reinforcements – NovaNox® PU hoses can always be individually adapted to the customer's requirement profile, helping to safely transport particularly aggressive media. With our cross-industry expertise, we support our customers in new developments, further developments, and cost optimisations.
PU Suction Hose and PU Conveying Hose – Two Applications, One Material
PU Suction Hose: A PU suction hose, also known as an intake hose, is used in industrial applications for extracting a wide variety of solids, gaseous media, and liquids. As specialists, we develop and produce custom-made thick-walled and thin-walled PU suction hoses for the entire industry.
PU Conveying Hose: A PU conveying hose is used for transporting various solids, gaseous media, and liquids. Here too, aggressive media often exert significant mechanical stress on the hose – reliability and durability are therefore fundamental.
Whether in enclosed spaces or in an outdoor environment: a PU hose must always be reliable to avoid endangering people and the environment.

Media Resistance and Performance of NovaNox® PU Hoses

NovaNox® PU hoses are distinguished by their versatility and are ideally suited for a variety of industrial applications. They transport a wide range of solids, gaseous media, and liquids, including highly abrasive materials such as sawdust, powders, cement, or granulates, thereby ensuring safe and efficient transport.
In addition to their core properties such as abrasion resistance and anti-static characteristics, NovaNox® PU hoses are also equipped with superior thermal properties and material durability. Thanks to this design, they can be effectively used at temperatures exceeding +110 °C, making them suitable for high-temperature environments.
Furthermore, our PU hoses with enhanced properties meet flammability class V-0 according to UL 94 standard, offering flame-retardant characteristics. Their optimal compatibility with foodstuffs makes them an ideal choice for the food industry, as they are hydrolysis and microbe-resistant, thus ensuring safety and hygiene in food-related applications.
Construction of a NovaNox® PU Hose
A NovaNox® PU hose is made from high-quality polyurethane (PU) and is particularly noted for its high abrasion resistance. Depending on the requirements, the NovaNox® PU hose can be manufactured with thick or thin walls. Smooth internal walls are possible for optimal flow.
Integrated spring steel spirals made of quality copper complete a NovaNox® PU hose. They are incorporated helically, offering maximum flexibility despite reliable robustness. This allows a NovaNox® PU hose to be compressed for application-specific needs without disrupting flow. This material combination also imparts anti-static properties to the NovaNox® PU hose.
Even in its basic configuration, a NovaNox® PU hose meets flammability class V-II according to UL 94. These quality features, combined with good thermal properties, enable diverse applications across the entire industrial sector.

Conformities

NovaNox® PU hoses are manufactured from polyurethane and are versatile for industrial use. Therefore, we can produce these hoses in accordance with national and international conformities.
Firstly, the hoses can be manufactured according to the “Restriction of Hazardous Substances” (RoHS) directive. This limits the use of hazardous substances in the manufacture of electrical and electronic equipment, ensuring that no dangerous substances enter and pollute the environment during subsequent recycling.
Secondly, they can be produced in accordance with the REACH regulation. The “Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals” ensures that chemicals used in manufacturing are safely handled, posing no risk to humans or the environment.
Furthermore, the PU hoses can be manufactured in compliance with the “Toxic Substances Control Act” (TSCA), which restricts the hazardous substances used. FDA-compliant manufacturing also assures food compatibility.
