As part of the event "Qualification. Skilled workers. Future. With a strong network for a strong region", the continuing education association ko:nect, together with IG Metall SüdOstNiedersachsen and representatives from the region, discussed the question of how companies can benefit from digitalization and transformation and to what extent continuing education can represent an opportunity for companies with a shortage of skilled workers.
In addition to speeches by Minister Hubertus Heil, Federal Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Simone Kauffeld from the TU Braunschweig, our Managing Director Deniz Demirci was also invited to give a presentation on the topic of "Digitalization and transformation as an opportunity". The aim was to use a practical example to illustrate the opportunities that digitalization offers small and medium-sized companies.
But why, of all companies, was NovaNox® invited? NovaNox GmbH & Co. KG has adapted to digitalization in order to optimize its day-to-day work. We organize our tasks and appointments via Microsoft Teams and telephone calls are made via a program on the PC. Our employees are also constantly undergoing further training in their respective specialist areas through online courses in order to work more efficiently and purposefully and to improve their know-how. These courses are completed weekly in small theoretical units so that the training opportunities can be easily integrated into our employees' everyday working lives.
Another advantage that digitalization offers NovaNox® employees is the option of working from home. This means that our employees can not only work in our modern offices, but also easily from home.
The efficient use of digitalization represents a great advantage for NovaNox® and at the same time enables a continuous improvement of our employees' expertise and shows that digitalization can represent a great opportunity for small and medium-sized companies.
