The reflection silencers or chamber silencers from NovaNox® work according to the reflection principle. Here, the body of the silencer is equipped with a stainless steel sieve tube, which is additionally wrapped with stainless steel mesh and inserted in insulating material. Reflection chambers are installed at the rear end of the silencer, which use the principle of sound reflection and sound wave superposition. In this process, the absorbed sound passes through the internal chambers several times and the so-called sound pressure amplitude occurs. This effectively reduces the sound pressure peaks. Depending on the requirements, they can be manufactured in single or series production. Depending on the number of pieces, the combination silencers can be manufactured using an automated welding process or welded by hand.
