Manufacturing process

Manual welding
As a specialist welding company, we can draw on many years of know-how in welding technology with our trained personnel. Stainless steel hydraulic tanks are manufactured using an automated welding process and are also welded by hand. Especially for custom-made products and small to medium-sized series, we like to use the manual welding process as a cost-optimized alternative with fast throughput. We manufacture hand-welded stainless steel hydraulic tanks on innovative welding tables. Our own fixture construction ensures dimensional accuracy and lasting precision even with high tolerances.

Automated welding
The automated welding process is carried out with state-of-the-art welding robots. The automation allows a very fast and efficient production. This is particularly profitable in the case of high demands that are to be produced at low costs while maintaining consistent quality. The automated welding process represents a method of welding with extremely high precision. This means that even complicated stainless steel hydraulic tanks with high tolerance requirements can be implemented.

In doing so, we digitally illustrate the effects of various mechanical, thermal and electrical stresses by means of linear and non-linear structural-mechanical calculations. This enables us to examine the effects of the various influences on the entire product or component for both simple and arbitrarily complex geometries before we build prototypes.

The results of these calculations are additionally useful to you as a certificate for technical approvals, for product liability and production releases.

NovaNox FEM calculations are performed analytically according to general and international standards. This ensures the comparability and reliability of the results. In detail we do for you

  • linear and non-linear structural mechanics calculations
  • Analysis of deformations, stiffnesses and stability
  • Consideration of natural vibrations
  • Transient structural analysis
  • Collision analyses
  • Temperature field calculation (thermal-stationary or thermal-transient)
  • CAE-supported fatigue analysis with nCode

We produce technical drawings for you in 2D (in dxf, dwg and pdf formats) and in 3D (in step format). This includes individual part drawings, assembly drawings, general drawings or assembly drawings as required. In addition, detailed technical documentation is included for your review. This allows you to make any adjustments or special requests in good time before the start of production.

This gives you the certainty that everything will fit perfectly and be implemented error-free when production starts. With this scope of technical drawings including the comprehensive documentation, communication functions smoothly throughout your entire development and production process chain. Each stage receives the information relevant to it, making processes much more efficient.

You will be involved in the project planning, design and selection of construction, material and manufacturing process from the very beginning. In this way, we want to ensure that a result as close to series production as possible is already achieved in the prototype phase and that your time and cost planning is adhered to.

The results of the FAI are analyzed in order to trim the manufacturing process to the highest possible efficiency and cost-effectiveness. To this end, we support you in significantly reducing the time-to-market and starting successful series production on schedule. In this way, we keep within your project budget and you have more security.

To ensure that your production runs without interruption, we take care of the entire process for you, from demand planning to logistical handling. For this purpose, we have a total of 1,200 square meters of storage space available to you as a consignment warehouse. This saves you costs in warehousing and in production due to larger batch sizes.

Your uninterrupted component supply for series production is guaranteed. Your stainless steel hydraulic tanks are delivered on schedule from the consignment warehouse as required.
